Please join members of STAR as we join groups such as: American Muslims for Palestine (AMP), Palestinian Youth Movement (PYM), US Campaign for Palestinian Rights, Palestinian Christian Alliance for Peace (PCAP), and more as we march on the National Mall in DC(3rd st- between Madison Dr. and Jefferson Dr.) Saturday. May, 18th @1 pm to commemorate 76 years of resilience for Palestinians.
(Nakba Day- observed on May 15th- marks the anniversary of the violent, forced mass expulsion, displacment, and dispossession of over 700,000 Palestinians that occured before and during the 1948 Arab-Israeli war that followed Isreal's establishement. It is know as the "Nakba" or "Catastrophe". This year's commemoration marks the 76th anniversary of the "Memory of the Catastrophe". #NAKBA76
